Campus Meets Community
Weekend Getaways
A rotating roster of chefs will create weekend workshops using every aspect of the center, with guests staying at The Laurel Hotel & Spa, enjoying the rooftop terrace, eating in the Hey Day Market and 1856, experiencing a cooking demonstration and taking a class in the culinary exhibition laboratory and wine tasting in the wine appreciation laboratory.
Community Engagement
The spacious lawn of the Tony and Libba Rane Culinary Science Center will serve as a venue for outdoor community events like farmer’s markets and live music. With bountiful options of dining and socializing, the Rane Center is likely to be a destination for students and visitors alike to enjoy all that Auburn University and the College of Human Sciences has to offer.
